How to use
The Silver Sulfadiazine method of use consists of applying a thin layer of the medicine over the affected area, once a day, covering it with gauze immediately afterwards. When the ointment after being applied is exposed to light, it is normal for it to change color, without diminishing its effect.
Side effects
The side effects of Dermazine can be the appearance of Stevens-Johnson syndrome, Lyell's syndrome, changes in blood composition and loss of minerals in the urine.
Contraindications
Silver Sulfadiazine is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the formula and premature children or children under 2 months.
Its use is also not recommended in the last trimester of pregnancy and in breastfeeding because it is not known if its use is safe at this stage, as well as in premature babies and less than 2 months old.
This ointment should not be applied to the eyes.
