Indications
Ceclor is indicated for the treatment of tonsillitis, pharyngitis, skin and soft tissue infection, orofacial infection by anaerobic and Gram positive cocci, urinary tract infection, otitis media and pneumonia.
How to use
The use of this medicine is oral, and in the case of adults 250 to 500 mg is recommended every 8 hours and for children with bronchitis, pneumonia, skin infection between 6.7 to 13.4 mg per kg of weight every 8 hours. In the case of otitis media, pharyngitis, tonsillitis about 6.7 to 13.4 mg per kg of body weight every 8 hours or 10 to 20 mg per kg of body weight every 12 hours.
Side effects
The main side effects include diarrhea, nausea and a rash.
Contraindications
Ceclor is contraindicated in pregnancy, previous allergic reaction to cephalosporins, penicillins or penicillamine.
