How to use Cefzil
Oral use
Adults
- Pharyngitis; tonsillitis and urinary tract infection: Administer 500 mg of Cefzil every 24 hours for 10 days. Bronchitis and Sinusitis: Administer 500 mg of Cefzil every 12 hours for 10 days. Skin infection: Administer 250 to 500 mg of Cefzil every 12 hours or 500 mg every 24 hours for 10 days.
Children
- Otitis media (6 months to 12 years old): Administer 15 mg of cefzil per kg of body weight every 12 hours for 10 days. Pharyngitis and Tonsillitis (2 to 12 years old): Administer 7.5mg of Cefzil per Kg of body weight, for 10 days. Sinusitis (6 months to 12 years old): Administer 7.5 to 15 mg of Cefzil per kg of body weight every 12 hours for 10 days.
