Indications
Prevention of bronchospasm associated with asthma, bronchitis, emphysema; prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm.
Contraindications
Pregnancy risk C; breast-feeding; allergy to any component of the formula; acute asthma
Side effects
Headache, inflammation of the nose and throat; respiratory infection.
Other considerations:
Prolonged and frequent use of salmeterol inhalations can cause addiction and the medication has no effect.
