Trabectidine is an anti-cancer drug that works by preventing the process of tumor cell multiplication and, therefore, is used as a chemotherapy treatment in some types of cancer.
The commercial name of Trabectidine is Yondelis, but it cannot be bought in conventional pharmacies because it can only be used in the hospital to make injections directly into the vein.

Trabectidine is indicated for the treatment of advanced sarcoma in the soft tissues, when the other types of treatment did not show any effect.

Side Effects of Trabectidine
The main side effects of Trabectidine include weight loss, low blood pressure, diarrhea, stomach pain, heartburn, hair loss, muscle pain, excessive tiredness and joint pain.
Contraindications for Trabectidine
Trabectidine is contraindicated for breastfeeding women and patients with recurrent or uncontrolled infections. In addition, it should also not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to Trabectidine or any other component of the formula.
