Hemorrhoid crisis: 6 tablets at for the first 4 days and then 4 tablets daily for 3 days. After this first treatment, 2 tablets should be taken daily, for at least 3 months or according to the medical prescription. Chronic pelvic pain: 2 tablets daily, for at least 4 to 6 months or according to the medical prescription.

Daflon can also be used before varicose vein surgery, also called saphenectomy, and its use consists of using 2 tablets a day, for 4 or 6 weeks, according to the doctor's prescription. After varicose vein surgery, 2 tablets should be taken daily, for at least 4 weeks, or according to the doctor's recommendation.

Side effects of Daflon

Side effects of Daflon can be diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, malaise, rash, itching, hives, dizziness and swelling of the face, lips or eyelids.

Contraindications for Daflon

Daflon is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the formula and the use of this medication should be avoided in pregnant and lactating women. Children and adolescents under the age of 18 should not take Daflon.
